Описание: So this one has been a couple of months in the making!! I originally had the beginnings of an idea at the end of October, even went to Tango to make a coloring for it and then I... made like, two test shots and then gave up because compositing shots was a pain. Then Layne saw it like a month later, said very nice things, and now here we are. ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ (so moral of the story: i am motivated by nice compliments and the promise of future compliments)

also hilariously i actually hadn't seen bladerunner when I started this, but we watched both of them while I was in the middle of it, and my god, they're both so gorgeous. (I giggled through THE monologue but it has really stuck with me.)

Astra has been looking for Azena for years, even though she sees her constantly - her face is shown on every screen all over town again and again, the same as any other idol.

Years ago a large group of girls were kidnapped and experimented on to test their new technology - the regulators - to one day harness them to enhance their artificial humans. They hoped to train more capable robots, manipulate and brainwash existing humans and eventually extract their personalities to put into the robots. The brainwashing at least was a success, and the girls were made into entertainers of all sorts to continue collecting data. The creator, however, kept his favorite close by.
