Dr. Subhash Kak is Regents Professor of Computer Science at University of Oklahoma, a Visiting Professor at JNU, and also a member of the Prime Minister's Science, Technology and Innovation Council. He is also well known as a professor who understands the Indic issues, and has done yeoman service in correcting the dogmatic perceptions held by the West. Here he contends in a talk with Sanjay Dixit that the left-liberal-secular idea had two principal components, one that perpetuated the myth about caste oppressions, and the other that Indians were not capable of any scientific achievements. He not only demolishes these contentions through cogent arguments, but also contends that 2019 LS elections is an evidence that even the public has rejected this phoney 'Idea of India'.
