With increasing population, extension of modern agriculture practices and deforestation, the human-wildlife conflict has reached to a very different level. As the predators are vanishing from the landscapes, the prey population such as blue bull and other herbivores are getting big in number and causing huge amount of loss to farmers from raiding their agricultural field. In search of a holistic solution, for the first time in the country, Madhya Pradesh forest department has experimented with actual mass capture techniques to capture the blue bulls from a village, 'Era' in Mandsaur District .
