Speedrun of the latest game from Frederick Raynal (creator of the Little Big Adventure and Alone in the Dark series) - 2Dark. Created by Gloomywood, this game harkens back to the good old days of survival-horror adventure games.
Routing this run was half the fun! Ended up choosing plenty of safe strats just to get consistent at it and getting it done. Most of the riskier strats are in the first half of the run. Without a doubt I find that Normann's House is by far the most stressful part of the run, with many variables that can go horribly wrong very fast.
The last level, Gloomywood Orphanage, has a very neat glitch where the cart can be used to glitch into the ground level of the building - effectively skipping the basement part. As a plus this results in barely any NPCs on ground level and getting the key for the first floor is super easy.
Overall happy about this though I haven't been practicing the latter half as much as the first. Had no idea sub 30 min would be possible as well as it did. Will be interesting to see how far it can be pushed down in time.
