OFALA is celebrated in Onitsha the heart of Anambra State and other Kingdoms in the State as a memorial ceremony for the remembrance of the date the traditional ruler of the area was installed.
The festival serves as an avenue for the monarch to perform certain obligations, and is mainly a celebration with his subjects upon his annual emergence from seclusion.
The festival which kicked off on the 13th of Oct will make it way through the 15th of Oct.
