US President Donald Trump commented on Bad Bunny’s halftime, obliterating it as “one of the worst” halftime shows ever via Truth Social.
Trump claimed the show did not represent the “success, creativity, or excellence” of the United States.
The president also called the show a “slap in the face” to the country.
Turning Point USA hosted its own Super Bowl halftime show, which drew nearly 5 million viewers on YouTube.
The alternative halftime show was announced after singer Bad Bunny was controversially announced as the headliner of the official NFL Super Bowl halftime show.
The show began with a message from US Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, stating the department is “proud to support”.
