Do your cat toys look like this? Horrendous aint it. Well, breaking that trend is the Catit Pixi spinner, it takes a new approach, applying a touch of minimalism and a modern design which blends perfectly with our home decor. We got ours in white and blue although there is also a white and gray version. Honestly, why all cat toys seem to have to stick out like sore thumbs is seriously beyond me, just look at our cat toy box. The main element of this toy is the spinner which can be detached from the base and replaced if needed, albeit replacements need to be purchased from Catit. The toy also features a blue fabric mesh with a cute LED light, alongside a built-in treat compartment. The toy also has a battery compartment for 2x AAA's and an on/off switch. Despite these cool features, there are some drawbacks such as durability concerns and the treat tray feeling gimmicky. Our cats don't stay engaged with it for long and it doesn't attract them on its own, scoring a 41 out of 60 on our toy comparison list. While it's a solid performer, we'd recommend saving it for later and waiting to see if durability concerns are solved.
