Описание: We all recognize this metaphor—it shows so clearly how dreadful it is to return to sin or to turn away from the path of righteousness. Yet we are weak, and even when we know what is right, we often find ourselves sinking back into the mud. May we remain watchful, devoted to prayer, and steadfast on the path of righteousness. Lord, help us not to return like dogs or pigs to what we have been cleansed from, but to walk faithfully in Your ways.

彼得后书 2:21/2 Peter 2:21
Tāmen xiǎo de yì lù，jìng bèi qì le chuán gěi tāmen de shèng mìng，​
他们晓得义路，竟背弃了传给他们的圣命，​
dǎo bù rú bù xiǎo de wéi miào。​
倒不如不晓得为妙。​
It would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness,​
than to have known it and then to turn their backs on the sacred command that was passed on to them.

Súyǔ shuō dé zhēn bú cuò：​
俗语说得真不错：​
Gǒu suǒ tù de，tā zhuǎn guòlái yòu chī；​
狗所吐的，它转过来又吃；​
Zhū xǐ jìng le，yòu huí dào ní lǐ qù gǔn。​
猪洗净了，又回到泥里去滚。​
Zhè huà zài tāmen shēn shàng zhèng hé shì。​
这话在他们身上正合适。​
Of them the proverbs are true:​
“A dog returns to its vomit,”​
and, “A sow that is washed returns to her wallowing in the mud.”
