This horizontal aquatic plants terrarium in a upcycled bottle was by far the most difficult built for me.
I used a upcycled single malt bottle which had a very narrow opening.
I clearly did not have the tools needed to execute this built so had to improvise and make some DIY tools for the project in hand.
Like all my recent builds I started with a plan in the form of a rough sketch but the real difficulties came up during the built. I had glued the bottle in a way so that the opening of the bottle was on my left which means I had to make the terrarium using my left hand for most of the part in order to capture the process on my cam. Needless to say I am a right hander.
On top of that once I watered the substrate in preparation for planting, the bottle started misting up so much that I could hardly see what I was doing.
But in the end it all came together in a pretty satisfying way.

Here are the details of the materials and plants used in the built

Container : Recycled small single malt bottle fixed to a piece of wood with silicon glue
Substrate - Aquasoil and inert sand
Hardscape - Lava rock pieces and a small piece of driftwood.
Plants - Hydrocotyl Tripartita and Riccardia Chamedryfolia

I will also add some springtails later
