For this project, I’m using the Elegoo Centauri Carbon 2 to find out. Elegoo sent me the printer for this build and I wanted to push it beyond small decorative prints into actual functional furniture.
Instead of printing everything, I focused on printing only the parts that truly benefit from 3D printing: the structural connectors. The rest is simple wood you can buy at any hardware store.

Before committing to the full-size table, I printed a complete 20% scale prototype using the new CANVAS multi-color system to test geometry, tolerances and color separation on structural parts.

Let’s see if a beginner-friendly machine can really handle furniture.
