the video is called copycat because this was heavily inspired by two combo videos that i like a lot:

SquidTheCat's DREAMING AWAKE -    • DREAMING AWAKE  
BabActivated's ACT-IV-ATE -    • ACT-IV-ATE  

the cinematics of the second half of the video were inspired by silentwolf's attack on top tier (   • Attack on Top Tier - A Fox Combo Video  ), but they're also a general homage to the old era of machinimas and story-telling with raw in-game footage.

this is easily the most proud i've ever been for a piece of media that i've been apart of making. youtube/streaming has been kinda difficult for me because i'm generally not very good or passionate at doing the things that are in the meta. it just doesn't click with me very well and i've always felt very inferior as a content creator as a result. this combo video reignited a ginormous passion that i've always had for video game montages that for some reason i just never decided to explore outside of some meme combo videos and some short minute long ones on my twitter. i'm very thankful for actually committing to doing this and i really hope that this succeeds so that i can do more in the future. i would love to just be someone who uploads mentality talks and combo videos and does well at melee events lmfao.

(but honestly even if it doesn't do very well im still gonna be pretty happy because i just like watching the video myself LMAO)
