In a previous video I showed you how to stick down collage papers onto a canvas. Now I'm showing another method that I've been using on my environmental works that works for me on the type of images that I want to lay down flat.
Wetting the paper first is a good strategy. If the paper is very stiff, dipping it into water and letting the excess run off works well after you have placed glue on the surface. Because my papers are fine, I lightly spray the back of the paper and actually like the speckles that result on this particular paper.
The moisture allows the papers to lay down really flat, no matter what your surface is.
