Описание: The Musée des Blindés in Saumur is a military museum which houses more than 800 tanks and armored vehicles of the most militarized and industrialized nations, namely the United States, Great Britain, France, Italy, Germany, Japan, Russia and Spain. Although more than 200 vehicles are original, over half of the preserved vehicles are replicas due to the rarity of the spare parts. Mark I A7V, Renault FT, Panzer IV, M4 Sherman, T-34, Saint-Chamond, 75/18 and many other tanks are on display. Also preserved are some Putilov-Garford (Russian armored car from the First World War), some artillery pieces such as the famous 8.8 cm FlaK and other firearms. There are also uniforms from the first and second world wars. The museum is also equipped with a group of mechanics who specialize in tanks and armored repairs who have the task of supervising, repairing and searching for the necessary pieces, which for obvious reasons are very rare. The complete, very complex and expensive restoration takes an average of one or two years. In the repair area there are parts of restored tanks, turrets, hulls, tracks and engines.
