INGREDIENTS
Freshly grated coconut – 1 cup
Mango ginger – washed, peeled & chopped – 3 to 4
Cumin seed – ¼ tsp
Green/red chilli to taste
Salt to taste
Water - 1/4 cup/ required amount to grind
Lemon juice - 1 tsp
TEMPERING
Oil – 1tsp
Mustard seeds – ½ tsp
Cumin seeds – ¼ tsp
Curry leaves – few
Asafoetida – 2 pinches
METHOD
1. Grind – 1 cup freshly grated coconut + mango ginger 3 to 4 +cumin seed ¼ tsp + green/red chilli to taste + salt to taste + water ¼ cup (required amount to grind).
2. Add 1 tsp lemon juice to the ground paste.
3. mix well.
4. add the tempering & mix.
