Smart started supporting Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS) in 1999. Today, this ageing technology has already been overtaken by so many mobile phone applications available for free in the market that can transmit voice, messages, photos and data more efficiently.
On September 28, 2018, MMS will no longer be supported on the Smart network. As we say goodbye to MMS after a colorful twenty (20) year ride, we are now preparing the Smart network to offer the latest communications technologies such as 5G and more very soon.
