US President Donald Trump said on Tuesday that the United States has "a lot of meetings scheduled on Greenland" during at the annual conference of the World Economic Forum in Switzerland this week. Trump told a press conference that he doubted European nations would scrap commitments to invest in the United States if he took action to acquire Greenland. The United States and NATO will come to an agreement on the future of Greenland that will satisfy both sides, Trump added. Earlier in the day, Trump had said there was "no going back" on his goal to control Greenland, refusing to rule out taking the Arctic island by force.
