btop vs htop: The Better System Monitor on Ubuntu 24.04

Описание: htop is fine. btop is better. Here's the comparison on Ubuntu 24.04.

sudo apt install btop
btop

What btop does that htop doesn't:
• Per-core CPU graphs with real utilisation, not just averages
• Network throughput and disk I/O in the same view
• GPU support built in (nvidia-smi output inline)
• Presets and mouse-driven box layout

Config lives at ~/.config/btop/btop.conf if you want to tweak the
graph order.

I still keep htop installed — it's faster on a remote box over SSH where
btop's redraws stutter.
