UPU International Letter-Writing Competition 2025: Celebrating young voices at Congress

Описание: The 54th UPU International Letter-Writing Competition for Young People invited children aged 9 to 15 to imagine themselves as the ocean and call for its protection. This year’s theme inspired more than 1.6 million entries from 65 countries – the widest reach in a decade.
On 19 September, the UPU announced the winners: Reyyan Demiriz of Türkiye (First Prize), Phạm Đoàn Minh Khuê of Viet Nam (Second Prize), and Kanlanfe Ingrid Ouali of Burkina Faso (Third Prize). The three winners were honoured at a special awards ceremony held during the 28th UPU Congress in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, organised in partnership with UNESCO Ocean and the International Maritime Organization.
