For on of my students I have arranged the Partita in G major. Here I present the last movement Allegro. Knowing that we cannot use all the bass notes of the original on the guitar, I tried to find an alternative by expanding the structure in a more contrapuntal style, similar to Bach. In the Allegro I also have added some more bars to enlarge the wonderful sequence in Bach style. Same as in the other movements this home recording is not perfect at all, but it hopefully gives you an impression of my idea. I hope you like the result. In September 2026, the “Bach” version of this partita will be officially published by PRIM Music Verlag.
