EZ Doubled Ribbing on a Ribber Without Waste Yarn by Diana Sullivan

Описание: Diana shows how to do doubled ribbing for a warmer, thicker cuff, especially useful in hats, gloves, and mittens for warmth. There are two innovative methods – one using waste yarn, and one without waste yarn. Both are easy to do and work up quickly.

This video shows the method that requires NO waste yarn!

You might think that you could work some waste ribbing, then a row of ravel cord, and then switch to your garment yarn. If you do it that way, all the twisting the ravel cord does to go from a knit stitch, to a purl stitch and then back to a knit stitch, will make it difficult to remove the ravel cord. You will have to pick it out one stitch at a time. Instead, check out Diana’s clever, simplified methods.
