Wheat is the most cultivated crop in Pakistan.
Every year numerous varieties develop by different Government and private organizations.
In this video I show a new seed named RATA KALACHI briefly known as RK-23 developed by AZRC (Arid Zone Research Center) Dara Ismail Khan.
It's characteristics include girthy stem, long and broad flag leaf and dark green color code , which make it one of top wheat variety in upcoming season 2025 and so on.
I got 58 maund per acre of RK-23 in late sowing crop.
Sowing date was 24 November 2024 and Harvested was 27 April 2025. It is the most productive variety in late sowing.
