Disney Wonder Cruise to Alaska Day 9! Victoria, BC

Our final port of call of the sailing was Victoria, BC. We enjoyed the sail in from our verandah and had some room service items before heading to Cabanas for breakfast. We dined on oatmeal, omelets and pastries and were ready for our day.

We booked a horse drawn trolley tour which departed from the port. The excursion lasted about an hour and we were able to see a number of historic homes as well as The Empress Hotel and the Capitol. We were then able to take one of the complimentary buses back to the waterfront where we did some souvenir shopping before stopping for lunch at Frankie's Modern Diner. The menu offerings were quite varied from poutine to pizza. There was literally something for everyone's taste. We had to try the key lime pie which was touted as the best in Victoria. Time flew by and after making some photo stops, we headed back to the ship. Victoria is such a beautiful city, we would love to visit again!

Back on the Wonder, we planned to soak in as much as we could for our final evening on board. We made our way to the Walt Disney Theater for Dreams. The show features Peter Pan and a variety of other characters with plenty of Disney magic. There have been some updates since the last time we watched the show, so we were glad we went. One of our family favorite must-do activities is Silent DJ. We have such a great time listening to the music, and sometimes Tim and Brielle sing along!

For our final dinner, we were back at Triton's. We typically scope out the menu well in advance and were excited to see the chicken fettuccine and chocolate lava cake. From the bread service to the charcuterie and dessert, this was a great meal.

On the final night of all Disney cruises, there is a farewell show in the atrium (or grand hall). A wide variety of characters and Walt Disney Theater performers appear for photo ops before they gather for one last goodbye. We couldn't think of a more perfect way to end a fantastic vacation!
