Sean Costello (1979 – 2008) was an American blues musician renowned for his exceptional guitar playing and soulful vocals, who emerged as a prodigy in the genre and released several acclaimed albums before his untimely death from an accidental overdose at age 28. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Costello moved with his family to Atlanta, Georgia, at age nine, where he quickly developed a passion for music, initially exploring hard rock before discovering blues through artists like Howlin' Wolf.By age 14, he had won the Memphis Blues Society's New Talent Award and began performing professionally, drawing influences from guitarists such as Hubert Sumlin, Otis Rush, B.B. King, and Stevie Ray Vaughan.
