I go to Darana Dragway (Milan, MI) to help George Krieger test his Super Stock GT/EA Vega. We were out here a few days ago for the JPR Stock Super Stock Pro Tree Combo Race. George's Vega was doing giant wheel stands and getting up on the wheelie bars and then unloading the car. George wants to test some timing changes and chassis setup to try and tame the car down. It was cloudy and cold (mid 50s) and the track never really got any heat in it (60 degrees). The density altitude was 500 on Sunday verses 1200 today. We struggled and did not make any improvements, but hopefully we learned what we can change before George tests the car again.
