Appi Payasa
ing
For poori
Maidha1 cup
Chirroti rava ( fine rava)1/2 cup
Salt pinch
Ghee 1 TSP
Water1/2 cup
Mix the ing first and rub and make a stiff dough adding water little by little and rest for 20 min and make thin pooris and poke with fork so the poori will be flat and crisp.Deep fry on medium heat till crisp and store in box.
Ing for Payasa
Full cream milk 1 lit
Sugar 1 1/4 cup
Cashews and almond chopped
Elaichi 5
Saffron 2 pinch
Ghee 2tsp
Fine rava 3tsp
method
Boil milk in thick bottomed pan ,let it boil for 10 min.Heat a kadai add ghee and fry chopped nuts and remove to a plate Add rava to the kadai and fry for few min .powder elaichi.Soak saffron in hot milk.Add rava to the boiling milk and let it cook for 10 min. Boil 2littre water add crushed pooris and strain so excess oil to drain.add the pooris and sugar and boil for 10 min.Add elaichi, saffron and fried nuts and switch off. If you feel the Payasa is thick add 1 cup of hot milk and enjoy.
