Описание: Savli MAHADEV- a famous Holy Land of saints, sants and mahants from ancient times- is just thirty-two kilometers in the North from Vadodara. Just close to Savli, flows the Mahi River. The ancient Shiva Temples on its banks witness the fact that several sadhus- saints of Nath creed were nourishing themselves spiritually centuries ago. The Holy Land of Bhimnath Mahadev in Savli, where swamiji came and lived, is a hub of that spiritual tradition. Even today exists the samadhi of His Holiness Shri Gebinath Gehminathdada of Nath sect who lived here some 300 years ago.

From Vaishnav Pusti Sampraday point of view also Savli is known as an important pilgrim place in India. One of the seven seats of Shri Hariray +Vfahaprabhuji is in Savli.

A Well-known medieval Gujarati poet Dhira Bhagat- who floated his self-written bhajans (stuffed inside bamboo roll) in the Mahi River- lived in nearby Gothda village. Our own contemporary saints Shri Mota was born in Savli. One of the eminent Gujarati poets- Shri Ushanash is also a Savlian_ His holiness Swamiji came to this holy land at the juncture when it was losing the radiance of its glory and worked relentlessly for thirty two years on religious, social and cultural front. That way, Savli was put back on the pilgrim's map. Today Swamiji's followers are spread across the globe- from Americas to South Africa.

Swamiji (commonly known as Savli na Swamiji) set his foot on this holy land on the auspicious evening of Bhadarava Sud Pancham, 2015, Hrishipanchami. A human shape wrapped in bhagva vastra, kamandala in the hand and zoli (cloth bag) dangling on the shoulder; but his face and his gait radiated the aura of the swami of the whole world. After arriving in Savli, straight away Swamiji went in front of the Samadhi of reverend Shri Gebinathdada in the porch of Bhimnath Mahadev. Eventually he got the dirt and dung heaps removed and made the whole ambience appropriate to that of the temple. Slowly people were attracted towards Swamiji and his activities. Then Swamiji took the task of renovating the dilapidated Bhimnath Mahadev Temple and rebuilt a conch-shaped new temple. Swamiji never expected anything from anybody nor did he ask for. He had faith in a Sutra (slogan) given to him by his mother. He used to say Satya sankulpa no data bhagvaan (God is the giver of truthful resolution)

When all of Swamiji's initiated works neared completion, people started believing that the Sutra was turning into reality. For the general good, Swamiji built school, college,
Hospital, sanskar Kendra, mobile hospital, artesian wells and temples in the states of
Orissa, Kerala, Himachal Pradesh and Rajasthan, before finally settling in Gujarat.

Swamiji did realize the importance of religion as well as education and sanskar in the overall upliftment of the people. Therefore Swamiji made the Savlians and the taluka people more education oriented by erecting educational institutions: from Adarsh Shishuvihar (kindergarten) to Arts and Commerce College. During his stay in Savli, he always thought in terms of progress, employment and education, which is the base of any healthy society. He created employment opportunities by starting educational institutions and a hospital. He did the charity towards the needy. He saw to it that no student should quit the study for the want of money. The idea of starting the educational institutions was to make such students of the interior places very self-reliant and educated.

His life-long service to the society spread in many directions. He was interested in the overall upliftment of the people. Therefore he always kept himself active on the social front and made the Savlians aware of their duty towards society. He treated the girls like his own beti at their marriage and unfailingly helped them in the form of some gift articles, clothes or even cash. Even in huge expenses, his financial help always was a boon to others.
