INGREDIENTS FOR PUDDING:

Dried figs 50 grams
Fresh home-made paneer (chena) 1 cup
Cardamom powder ½ tsp
Fresh milk fats (milk malai) or thick Fresh cream 1 tbsp
Honey 1 tbsp
Roasted and chopped walnuts ¼ cup
Fresh cream ¼ cup Mixed with
Saffron 8-10 stands soaked in 1 tbsp warm milk.

METHOD:

1) Clean and wash dried figs. Chop and soak them in 2 tbsp hot water for an hour. Then grind them a little coarsely.
2) Add home-made chena, cardamom powder, malai in it. Then grind it a little to combine the ingredients mix properly. Don’t over churn the mixture so that the granules texture will be maintained.
3) Combine honey with walnuts.
4) Prepare saffron cream or saffron milk by combining saffron strands and cream.
5) To assemble the pudding, place a layer of honey walnuts at the bottom of the serving glass. Place fig mixture on it.
6) Add thin layer of saffron cream on the top. Tap the glass to spread the mixture evenly. Place saffron strands on the top. Garnish with figs.
7) Set it in fridge for at least 3-4 hours.
8) Serve chilled.
