Devikulam sub-collector Sriram Venkitaraman transferred

Описание: T'puram: Devikulam sub-collector Sriram Venkitaraman, who played a key role in the Munnar eviction drive, has been transferred and will be replaced by the present sub-collector of Mananthavady. The decision to remove him from the post was taken at today's Cabinet meeting. Sriram has been appointed as the Director of Employment and Training Directorate, Thiruvananthapuram. According to the government, he has been promoted as a department chief. The suggestion has been put forward by the Chief Secretary at the Cabinet meeting. Revenue Minister E Chandrasekharan had reportedly expressed reservations against Sriram's transfer at the meeting. However, talking to media persons, he justified the government's move.
