Been waiting to see ‪@officialsevendust‬ since I first heard of them in 1999, on a tape mix sent to me in the wilds of Africa where we were living at the time. Every time I've tried to see them, 2004 when I lived in the States briefly, then in 2019 when they were again touring the UK with ‪@alterbridgeofficial‬, something has happened and they've had to pull out - cursed I believed I was!!! Until this last Thursday, I again expected the worst - but praise the gods, the curse has at last been been broken... Me and ‪@lucasbraybrook6652‬ have been bouncing around to Sevendust since we met when we were 18 back in 2000, and I was so glad he got to come along with us!

Though we had the noisiest group of guys behind us shouting away throughout the entire gig, this was such an amazing night. Not only did I get to see ‪@officialsevendust‬ but my dad and I finally got to go to an ‪@alterbridgeofficial‬ headline tour together. Safe to say my dad is one of the biggest Alter Bridge fans out there, what I wouldn't give to be able to afford a meet and greet for him one day... These two songs both mean so much to him and I gave my parents the lyrics to 'Wonderful Life' for their 40th wedding anniversary...
