Mind vs Mood
Mood is loud, mind is still,
But I chase the mood for the thrill.
Love I grab, hate I run,

Miss the mind — problem spun.

Sells me peace I can’t keep.

Two things tangled need clarity.

Sit in peace, praise hits loud,

Like a bar of iron glowing red,
Touch it anywhere — you’re burned instead.
Top, bottom, side — same flame,
Good or bad — same game.

So I don’t fight, I don’t cling,
I stop touching the burning thing.
Inconstancy Is the Buddha

Stillness came — I crowned it king,
Lost it next day — suffering.
Wanted peace to stay my way,
Truth said “No” — it fades away.
What comes back is old, recycled,
Same old patterns, renamed, titled.

Pleasure flips, pain rotates,
Same price tag on all states.
See it move — that’s the key,
Change itself is what’s constant, see.

Eko Dhammo
One Dhamma.
One law.

Rise and fall — I see it all.
One Dhamma.
No self.
Let it go — nothing else.
Disenchantment (True Letting Go)

Not disgust, not running away,
Just setting things down, letting be okay.
Don’t smash it, don’t bless it,
Don’t curse it, don’t dress it.

Leave it alone — that’s release,
Grip loosens, heart finds peace.
Glass looks fine, still can break,
Today or tomorrow — that’s the stake.
Trust in change, not in form,
That’s how wisdom keeps me warm.
Practice Where It Hurts

Drill the hole where the dowel stands,
Don’t chase answers in borrowed plans.
Thorn in foot — probe right there,
Not the clouds, not thin air.
Where I’m stuck, where I cling,

That’s the gate to everything.
If it’s low — jump the head,
If it’s high — slip instead.
The Shape of a Circle

Drop by drop — awareness flows,
Stream of knowing steadily grows.
No beginning.
No end.
Practice bends — but never bends.
This is peace beyond the thrill,
Not chasing calm, not fighting will.

When nothing’s grabbed, nothing’s wrong,
That’s the circle.
That’s the song.

When you see change,
you see the Dhamma.
When you see the Dhamma,
you see the Buddha.
