HOW TO PROPERLY USE THE ROWING MACHINE 🚣🚣
Positions we want to consider:
1. FINISH POSITION
Legs are extended straight
Torso leaned back slightly
Elbows pointed outward
Handle slightly below chest (men) and below bra (Women)
2. ARMS AWAY
My elbows are extended out, while my legs and torso remained stayed straight
3. BODY’S OVER
Reach in and the ONLY thing that should move is your hips (hinged outward)
4. CATCH POSITION (hugging position)
Body should accelerate forward and hug your knees
(*Make sure knees are not flaring too outward*)
Shin is perpendicular to the ground
5. DRIVE POSITION (Last position)
The reverse position where we bring everything together
Push off on your legs, lean back with torso and then follow through with your arms
