From time to time, when the tide is right, and it does not collide with work, Local paddlers can enjoy a tiny wave formed on the River Adur. The wave is located in Shoreham By Sea, next to the main bridge. To get to the wave location, you can park a car in the Adur Recreational ground Brighton Rd. Postcode BN435LT. The wave is located around 100m upstream from the bridge on the river left.
The river is tidal and the best time to get a good wave is, between 3-1 hours from the low tide. Spring tide and big rainfall, have a huge effect on the size of the wave.
