One of my favorite TV shows when I was a kid in the 1960's was "Voyage To The Bottom Of The Sea" (1964-1968). Yeah, "Star Trek" and "The Twilight Zone" were better as far as serious Science Fiction goes. But "Voyage" was a blast to watch. It had action, adventure, cool sets, award winning special effects, Richard Basehart and The Fabulous Seaview. When the Seaview would encounter mad scientists, aliens or monsters, it would get knocked around and the sparks would fly. Hence the title of this video "The Seaview Rock'n'Roll," which is a term I first heard in a DVD interview with David Hedison.
On the 50th anniversary of this TV show, I dedicate this video to the actors, production crew and the show's creator, Irwin Allen.
