While working full time and also going to school full time, Manuel Gonzalez has been finding it difficult to survive. Then, when his rent gets raised by almost 30%, Manuel is forced to sleep on a friend's sofa and forced to live out of his car. After receiving several parking tickets, he decides to take them to court to arrange a payment plan. But when Judge Porter hears his story, not only does he waive the fines, but he also finds him a place to stay temporarily.
