Foiling at My Khe Beach in Da Nang, Vietnam

Описание: After losing my GoPro in the Netherlands, it has been hard to swallow dropping another $500USD on a new GoPro. Plus the fact that they are hard to find in Europe and Asia at the US price. Typically in those countries it was Hundreds over the American or even the Candian Price. When we were in Cambodia, I found this awesome store @ufostoresiemreap that was willing to sell me an Osmo Action at the $279USD Christmas Promotional deal. I miss the superview, but aside from that, the interface I like better and everything else feels pretty comparable. Also for the price, I don’t think you can beat it. I think I also found a work around for the superview - shoot at 4:3 and then work some superview magic in post. I’ll try that out next time.
I get to finally bore you all with some more kiting footage and writeups that are too long ... Da Nang wasn’t supposed to have kiteable wind. I talked to some people that were over here and they said, there was wind, but not kiteable wind. It has been light, but that is the beauty of my foil. I went out two days and it was fantastic! So much fun shredding these waves. You may not be able to tell, but catching waves on the foil with the kite is so fun. You can just drop the bar and ride the wave for a couple of seconds before the kite starts moving.
It’s also been nice because when the waves haven’t been great, the wind has turned on and vice versa.
