The music is relaxing on it's own, but I added real cat purrs engineered into binaural beats. Designed to reduce anxiety, and ease insomnia, this original composition combines decades of musical expertise with half of a century of lived experience.

This soundscape was carefully crafted to tranquilize and calm the nervous system, so it can AVERT PANIC ATTACKS and actually END INSOMNIA. Not only that, but this video invites you to witness my cats, Luna and Neville, enjoying some peaceful snowfall! To anyone who cannot have cats for any reason, I invite you all to please live vicariously through my cats!!

I used sound engineering to transform their purr sounds (Live recorded, no samples and no synths) into a gentle binaural beat. As a student of music theory for over 40 years, and a chronic insomniac for also 40 years, I am uniquely qualified to test these new sounds on myself as I create them.

I used to struggle with getting to sleep. I also had nightmares and night terrors, waking up screaming. I learned later in life that being autistic and having PTSD (and/or CPTSD?) made sleep into a difficult thing, and that is what motivated me to engineer a sound that can help an anxious mind calm down enough to sleep.

After nearly two years of experimenting and testing, I found a combination of sounds and frequencies that have a tranquilizing affect on my brain, and since then I have been able to fall asleep within 10 minutes, a vast improvement over my usual 3 hours. That success is what motivated me to create this channel. I will keep working hard to show that my sleep songs are powerful and worth sharing!

If you are listening on headphones or earbuds, then I highly recommend NOT also driving or operating machinery, because this track just might KNOCK YOU OUT.

Research has shown that some people may experience headaches if they spend more than 30 minutes listening to binaural beats at a time. However, I theorize that they were experiencing fatigue from hearing one constant note, and I designed this binaural beat specifically to be gentler on our brains, yet at the same time more effective.

Whether you need calming music to end panic attacks and improve sleep, or if you just want background music for your own projects, I can write music to fit anything.

This is NOT meant to replace any advice from your doctor, but rather to be used IN ADDITION TO their advice. Also, therapy is just a good idea for everyone to do.

This development opens up a whole new door of creativity for me as a songwriter, because I can write music in nearly every genre that can not only assist listeners with sleeping, but also aid things like concentration and healing! Cat's purrs have already been proven to aid healing, and this sound will simulate that for you!

This is the culmination of my life's work as an autistic person who is obsessed with sounds and how they can actually CHANGE the way people feel. This is the eighth soundscape in a new but limitless series, and I hope to keep writing healing music for decades to come.

Neurodiverse listeners please let me know how well this works! I can say it works amazingly well on my particular flavor of autism, but every brain is different.

All music is written and produced by me, and I will NEVER use AI to write or to perform any of my music. It has to feel organic in order for us to feel anything from it.

All songs and soundscapes are going to be free streaming here on YouTube, because too many of the decent binaural beats are locked behind a paywall, and sleep should be free for everyone, even the chronically afflicted.
