This test compares the Malibu Wakesetter 21 LX and MasterCraft XT22t using factory-preset surf settings only. Both boats were surfed exactly as delivered, with factory ballast and recommended configurations engaged prior to riding.
Wave characteristics—including rideable length, height, pocket size, and face quality—were measured using consistent riders and equipment in identical water conditions. No tuning, no additional ballast, and no rider adjustments were made.
Truth on the Water starts at the preset.
