My Slim on Starch client David just finished his first 6 weeks of the program. Today, he is sharing his inspirational journey. David grew up 1 of 5 siblings and in welfare. Food was scarce. He learned the habit of overeating and binge eating, which became an emotional crutch as he got older. As David learned about a whole food plant based vegan diet after watching the Forks Over Knives documentary, he decided to make the change. Despite adopting a vegan diet, he was still overweight. He came to the SOS Program not only to lose weight, but also to inspire his mother to heal her health too. He then gifted the SOS Program to his mom, who is now on the program!
