A section of Turkana legislators now want Tullow oil to pack and leave. Turkana South MP James Lomenen and his Turkana East counterpart Mohammed Lokiru insist that for the movement of oil to resume residents must be informed on how the oil will benefit them directly. The leaders are also opposed to the signing of a proposed memorandum of understanding that will enable Tullow Oil resume activities in the region.
