A woman shared that at age 11 she realized her father was like a “little boy” with his wife, and the as a girl she began to see him like an older brother rather than a father. It was very disappointing to her as a girl. Jesse attended a family reunion recently saw Christian parents accepting immorality, a son bringing his young girlfriend to stay with him in a hotel, without any sense shame from his parents. One mother commented that fathers are mocked as “dumb” in culture, so she and her husband do not let their daughter watch TV shows with such themes.

One young man asked how to deal with doubt. Many people struggle with doubts and indecisiveness. Another man attempted to explain how to overcome doubt, but he admitted that he could not do it himself. Jesse said that anger brings doubt, because anger is from “your father the devil,” who feeds you with thoughts and lies that bring emotions, guilt and worry.
