In a fiery Supreme Court showdown, Senior Advocates Harish Salve and Prashant Bhushan locked horns over NGO Citizens Whistleblower Forum's plea for a court-monitored probe into massive fund diversion and loan frauds at Indiabulls Housing Finance Ltd (now Sammaan Capital). Before Justices Surya Kant, Ujjal Bhuyan, and NK Singh, Bhushan exposed ₹400cr loans to shell firms backed by SEBI affidavits, while Salve slammed it as "blackmail litigation."
