Bourbon Flaming Filet Mignon On a Salt Block on the Big Green Egg | FOGO Charcoal

Описание: Hello and welcome back to another episode of The FOGO Life. For this episode, we took two beautiful filet mignon's, cooked them on a Big Green Egg on a hot salt block and finished them with a burning bourbon whiskey! That's right, steaks on fire! The flambé method really finished off the salt block searing perfectly. It adds just a hint of whiskey flavor and completely burns off the alcohol from the bourbon. Warning, use caution when attempting this, the fire can easily spread to wherever the bourbon has flowed!

If you aren't sure of what a salt block is, it is a slab of Himalayan Pink Salt that is used for sear cooking that will impart a delicious flavor into whatever it is that you are cooking on it. It is very commonly used for shrimp, scallops, meats and vegetables. If you have been curious about it but nervous or intimidated, don't be! It is super easy to use and produces delicious results!
