Maharashtra Hospital Fire: 10 infants killed due to short circuit; CM Uddhav Thackeray orders probe

Описание: In a tragic incident from Maharashtra's Bhandara district, 10 infants were killed in their sleep in a hospital fire that broke out in the newborn care unit of the District General Hospital. The fire broke out at 2 AM in the morning. Seven infants were rescued from the spot out of 17. The other infants died because of the hospital fire. 

All of these infants were less than 3 months old. The cause of the fire in the building is yet to be ascertained, but it could have been a result of a short circuit. Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has ordered an inquiry into the incident.
