Safety isn’t just something you do. Safety is what you believe. But are zero injuries really achievable? If you say no, then ask yourself, what’s an acceptable injury for you and your family? What about your teammates and their families?
Remember, safety is about today. Not tomorrow. Not next week. Or next month. It’s about today. And what you can do today to keep yourself and your coworkers safe. You may not know their names or even see them every day, but their safety is important because people matter most.
So focus on today. And at the end of the week, we’ll have seven “todays.” And at the end of the year we’ll have 365 “todays.”
So think safety.
Plan Safety.
Act Safely. Today.
For yourself. And for your team. Because at the end of today, safety is what connects us together.
