Myanmar civil war: Injured rebels flee to makeshift hospitals on the Thailand border | SBS News

Описание: In February 2021, Myanmar’s military, led by General Min Aung Hlaing, overthrew the democratically elected government led by Aung San Suu Kyi.

The takeover was initially met with street protests and has since spiralled into a deadly civil war, with the junta waging war against armed resistance forces and ethnic militias across the country.

SBS News Asia Correspondent Aaron Fernandes travelled to the Myanmar-Thailand border, to meet the people whose lives have been forever changed by war.
