This is the fourth installment of The Provider Compensation Learning Series, a course taught by Ludi’s VP of Provider Compensation, Eric Leafgreen, at Virginia Commonwealth University.
The series was originally presented in Fall 2025 to a class of MHA students taught by M. Paige Powell, PhD, MHA, Associate Professor and MHA/MSHA Program Director.
In this episode, Eric provides an overview of the regulatory and legal framework that governs provider compensation, including Stark Law, the Anti-Kickback Statute, and fair market value considerations.
