The easiest in terms of drawing skill way to represent a 3D shape on flat paper is orthographic projection. How to draw the three straight on views of the top, front and side of the object to represent all its 3D qualities with simple shapes.
Draw the outline/silhouette of the view, then what edges are visible and then any hidden edges that would only be visible if the object was transparent (like it was made of glass).
Created for use in the Voyager Middle School STEAM Lab class with middle school students.
