May is National Foster Care Awareness month.
This video shines some positivity on a good memory while in the foster care system.
I’ll share a story of gratitude that I knew at a young age the joy of a meal made for underprivileged kids. There are many given the state of the world now who are struggling even more financially. If it is possible for you to donate the cost of a meal to one of the organizations spoken of in the video, you are making a difference in the life of a foster child.
As I stated at the launch of this You Tube channel, part of the reason for creating it is to raise awareness of the foster care system. I spent the majority of my childhood in foster care in Contra Costa County, CA.
I was not adopted and aged out of the system at 18.
I’ll present my videos in this series in the most informative and positive awareness possible.
Mine is just one story among many.
