This short video is an explanation on how I was able to install a front sway bar into my 1989 Nissan Sentra.
i got very lucky when I was pulling parts at a junkyard in Ontario, California and pulled a thicker beefier front sway bar off of a blue 1987 Nissan Pulsar NX (which are incredibly rare to see in a junkyard these days). the pulsar and sentra share similar interchangeable mechanical and suspension parts so this application will also work for my 1989 Nissan Sentra, as my car never had one in the first place from the factory as it is a bare bones base model.
i took the liberty to have the sway bar professionally restored with a fresh paint job at a local powder coating shop (located on Westminster ave in Westminster CA). that was a 65$ paint Job. i deliberately decided to have the factory black paint redone to red and blue to mimick the old nissan logo.
this job took me several hours to complete in one single evening as i have never done this before.
instructions: you must first set the parking brake and jack up the car and put jack stands for safety. remove the front wheels with an impact or break the torque on the lug nuts before jacking up the car which is what i did.
next you must get under the car and remove the exhaust hanger bolts and rubber hangers from the downstream exhaust pipe that is connected to the catalytic converter.
i suggest using an extra jack to prop up the exhaust pipe after removing the two 12 mm connecting bolts. this frees up space to wiggle and fish through the front swat bar.
after that you can install the front sway bar. be sure to tighten your new end links first before installing the front seay bar under the car.
next install the end links into the pre drilled holes of the lower control arms by inserting the bottom rubber grommet and metal washer threaded with a 15 mm nut to the underside of each front lower control arms. don't tighten down the end links yet until you install the front sway bar bushings.
next make sure you grease your sway bar bushings and loop them onto the sway bar and install the brackets for them with the squared end facing the front of the car while the oval round end of the seay bar bracket faces the rear of the car. my car luckily already had the 12mm mounting bolts pre installed so I just removed them and spent several minutes lining up the bolt holes from the sway bar bushings brackets into the car and had to push onto the brackets to get it flat for the mounting bolts to start threading onto the car. once that is done tighten to 12-15 ft/lbs with a torque wrench. do this for both sides.
after that you can tighten down the sway bar end links on the front lower control arms of your b12 sentra/sunny. torque to 12-15 ft-lbs. I didn't have a torque wrench for those small torque values so I just tightened it as much as I could but did not overdo it.
after that you must reinstall your exhaust pipes and this part was very tricky and time consuming since the connecting emd of the exhaust pipe had a spring loaded end to connect to the upstream exhaust manifold going to the engine. I eventually managed to reconnect and tighten down the exhaust connection with the 12 mm bolt and the other mismatched 10mm bolt and extra nut since the threads were damaged by someone else on the exhaust connection
I used pliers to grip onto the two connections of the upstream and downstream exhaust pipes and threaded on the connecting bolts carefully and tighten them down with a socket wrench. that took me an excessive amount of time probably 45 minutes to do that to reconnect the exhaust.
last steps is to reconnect and tighten down your exhaust hanger bolts using a 12 mm socket wrench and I suggest you use a smaller secondary jack to prop up the downstream exhaust pipe to line up the bolt holes for the exhaust hanger rubber part to avoid stripping and cross threading bolts. after that put the front wheels back on and finger tight the lug nugs before jacking up the car again to remove the jack stands and bring the car back down on the ground. retorque the front two wheels to 85 ft-lbs.
after that is optional go take a test drive and enjoy your ride and feel the difference in cornering and sharp turns!
I would like to give some credit to @heybentai for providing me information on this installation with his own video tutorial which I will leave his video link here to that tutorial.

anyway that's about it if you have any questions leave them in the comments I answer all of them as I have a small audience of no more than 59-100 people. good luck.
