Indian Supreme Court Justice DY Chandrachud was confronted with some tough questions about various cases related to atrocities against Muslim minorities in India; the use of bulldozers to demolish homes & businesses, the hijab row, the Babri Masjid decision, and the revocation of Article 370 whereby Illegally Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir was stripped off its special status.
Justice Chandrachud was addressing a seminar on ‘Protecting human rights and preserving civil liberties: The role of courts in a democracy’, held at King’s College in London on Monday.
